- "Garage" refers to vehicle repair businesses using the platform to source parts
- "Supplier" refers to auto parts suppliers using the platform to sell parts
- "User" refers to any person or business using the platform
- "Quote" refers to a price quotation submitted by a supplier
- "Order" refers to a purchase made through the platform
3. Account Registration
To use MatchMyParts, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Platform Services
MatchMyParts provides a platform connecting garages with parts suppliers. We facilitate quote requests and order management but are not a party to transactions between users.
We do not:
- Guarantee the availability, quality, or fitness of any parts
- Process payments between users
- Provide warranties on parts supplied through the platform
- Take responsibility for delivery or shipping
5. User Responsibilities
5.1 Garages
- Provide accurate vehicle and part information in quote requests
- Honour orders placed through the platform
- Arrange payment directly with suppliers
- Report any issues with orders promptly
5.2 Suppliers
- Provide accurate pricing and availability information
- Fulfil confirmed orders in a timely manner
- Maintain appropriate business insurance and licences
- Respond to customer queries through the messaging system
6. Fees and Payment
MatchMyParts offers free and premium subscription tiers. Fees for premium services are displayed on our pricing page and are subject to change with notice.
Payment for parts is arranged directly between garages and suppliers. MatchMyParts does not handle or process these payments.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchMyParts shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Actions or omissions of other users
- Disputes between garages and suppliers
- Quality or fitness of parts supplied through the platform
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
